Newtopia episode 4: Park Jung Min, Jisoo starrer uncovers grave reality in new teaser and stills

Newtopia’s fourth episode is finally arriving! While viewers worldwide, including those in India, may stream the recent episode on Amazon Prime Video starting at 4:30 PM IST, while South Korean fans can watch it on Coupang Play today at 22:00 KST.

Newtopia centers on Jae Yoon (Park Jung Min), a soldier who is frantically attempting to get back together with his fiancée Young Joo (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo) as they deal with the remains of a zombie-infested Seoul.

In the teaser, an emotional flashback shows Jae Yoon gently tying Young Joo’s shoelaces. In the present, Young Joo now ties her own laces, whispering through her tears, “You said they’d never come undone.” This contrast between past and present highlights just how much their lives have changed.

As Young Joo’s crew continues their dangerous trek, they come across a new character: Tang Jun Sang, who plays a college candidate. Even though he is intoxicated, the group decides to keep him with them as they flee for their lives. They quickly discover, though, that the zombies appear to be utterly oblivious to the inebriated visitor.

Alex portrayed by Lee Hak Joo, said, “You saw how the zombies weirdly avoid him, right? Maybe getting wasted is our last hope to survive.”

The group is left wondering if this odd strategy could truly succeed, even if it may sound ridiculous. Some pictures remind us of Jae Yoon and Young Joo’s better days before turmoil took over, taking viewers back to their undergraduate years. Others show a blood-soaked Young Joo, soldiers rushing into action, and a stunned Jae Yoon.

The suspense is further increased by one particularly powerful sequence that still depicts Tang Jun Sang’s panicked response as he faces an unexpected zombie attack.
