Once again, Ariana Madix has entered the Love Island USA villa—this time, permanently. The Vanderpump Rules star’s projects since Scandoval continue to pile up, as Peacock has officially confirmed her as the next host of the hit reality show’s US edition.

Madix’s role starts with the forthcoming season 6, which will premiere exclusively on the streaming service this summer.

The major update comes a day following Sarah Hyland stating in an Instagram post that she “will not be returning to the island this summer,” as she is now “committed to an exciting project, that will be announced soon, that conflicts directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA.”

Madix, who is a huge fan of the show, has previously appeared in the 5th season of Love Island USA and Love Island Games. A few months following Scandoval, she made her first appearance on the show when she referenced her disgraced ex Tom Sandoval’s statement on the Bravo show about not having time “to watch 50 goddamn episodes of Love Island” as his reason for not agreeing with Madix’s “definition of quality time.”

Ariana Madix cautioned Love Island USA contenders, “If they’re not the one for you, trust me, it’s better to find out sooner rather than later.”
