The much-awaited trailer for the second season of the Game of Thrones spin-off, House of the Dragon, has finally been released. But the creators released two trailers instead of just one. HBO released two trailers for Greens and Blacks on Thursday, setting the stage for the show’s June 17 premiere.

Following the crowning of King Aegon II and the terrible death of Lucerys Targaryen, House of the Dragon season 2 takes viewers into the heart of Westeros as the epic ‘Dance of the Dragons’ unfolds. With groups divided between the ‘Greens’ and the ‘Blacks,’ viewers will witness the chaotic fight for control and domination. Tensions rise due to the absence of strong leadership as followers of Alicent and Viserys’s son, Aegon II, try to take control of the kingdom from King’s Landing.
On the other hand, Rhaenyra’s Black Council struggles with strategic options and moral dilemmas after the tragic loss at Dragonstone. While both groups reflect on their former camaraderie, the relentless momentum of battle forces them into irreconcilable conflict, even inside their own ranks.

House of the Dragon is a novel set in the fictional continent of Westeros and is based on George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones book Fire & Blood. The events in the story occur around 200 years before those in Game of Thrones.
On August 21, 2022, House of the Dragon’s first season premiered. It was extended for a second season after surpassing HBO’s ratings expectations. House of the Dragon Season 2 will be released in India on June 17 via JioCinema.
