Park Bo Gum is an exceptional name in the Korean entertainment industry. He is known for his on-screen persona, which is seemingly subtle, kind and empathetic. Beyond his reel-life psyche, he is truly a gentleman, as proven in many instances in the past.
Recently, a veteran actor reminisced an anecdote stating Park Bo Gum’s gentle and kind demeanor towards his daughter during a meetup. In alignment, also referring his character to Yang Gwan Sik of When Life Gives You Tangerines, as quoted by Sports Chosun on April 18.

Women find it hard to accept anything less because of the high standard set by his character as an ideal husband. Park Bo Gum is a nice and lovable man in real life, similar to his green flag persona on screen, according to an old story actress Jung Eun Pyo shared on social media. The actor grabbed the spotlight for his portrayal of Yang Gwan Sik who lives in Jeju Island in the Netflix romance drama When Life Gives You Tangerines.
He wrote, “When Ha Eun (Jung Eun Pyo’s daughter) was in elementary school, she once mentioned on a TV show that she liked Park Bo Gum. Months after the broadcast, a box arrived at our home containing the Love in the Moonlight DVD, a signed photo card, and a handwritten letter from Park Bo Gum.” This proved how much the actor loved his supporters and even tried to treat them politely. Jung Eun Pyo added, “We’ve never even met him. He must’ve seen the show and made inquiries to find our address.”

The veteran actor mentioned, “I was so touched by his warm gesture, and his handwriting was just as beautiful as his heart.” The post also included a photo of the gift and Park Bo Gum’s handwritten note to Ha Eun, saying that he enjoyed seeing her act in a children’s show and wished for her to “grow up healthy and wise.” Jung Eun Pyo also joked about feeling jealous of his wife’s admiration towards Yang Gwan Sik and admitted that the character might actually be “a better husband” than him.
