Park Bo Young hits back on fans seeking direct replies on Bubble: ‘I’m not showing preferential treatment’
Internet users applauded the actress for treating all of her fans equally, but many also chastised certain supporters for expecting too much from the celebrity.
Demanding fans have been hounding Park Bo Young lately, pressing her for private answers on Bubble. The actress, however, responded angrily, declaring that she would not give anyone “preferential treatment” because it is not possible to respond to everyone.
A post titled “Don’t Whine To Park Bo Young on Bubble” became popular recently in an online group, receiving close to 30,000 views in a matter of hours. An exchange between the actress and several fans, who were upset that she wasn’t responding to them, was captured in the post.
The actor expressed, “I’m not ignoring you, I just can’t reply to everyone on this.” She reaffirmed that even if she is unable to respond to the comments, she is still reading them.
“I am not showing preferential treatment and I’m not lying about reading the comments”, she added.
“I’m sorry if I disappointed you but I won’t be replying in the future either… This is something I told myself when I first started this app! I thought replying to some and not others showed preferential treatment. Please understand,” she affirmed.
Park Bo Young took sure to reiterate that she would prefer to speak to everyone at once rather than starting an ugly rivalry among her own followers, even if she is aware that there is a way to respond to each fan individually.
“I hate when fans treat celebrities like they are their emotional trashcan”, a fan wrote on the online community, and a second user added, “She has such a good personality.”
Regarding her career, Park Bo Young is working on several projects, such as the mystery drama Light Shop, which will debut in December; Unknown Seoul, which will probably star GOT7’s Jinyoung; and Melo Movie, which will star Choi Woo Shik.
