Park Seo Joon is efficient at avoiding controversy. With a touching post about his beloved pet dog, Simba, the Gyeongseong Creature actor has quietly put an end to circulating rumors.

On March 18, the actor shared a picture of Simba on social media with the captions, “Simba update” and “My baby update.” The heartfelt and personal tone of his message seemed to divert attention away from recent reports that he had ridiculed fellow actor Kim Soo Hyun.

Park Seo Joon posted a number of photos from his trip to Paris on March 16 along with the caption, “What did I do in Paris? Garo”. Rumors quickly circulated that the message was a subtle jibe at Kim Soo Hyun. It gathered momentum after Kim Se Eui, host of the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, said in a live broadcast on March 17 that Park Seo Joon’s comments had a deeper meaning.

Kim Se Eui claims that “Garo” might be connected to Kim Soo Hyun’s post, “YouTuber Kim Paris.” He continued by claiming that the phrase alluded to Kim Soo Hyun’s purported relationship with actress Kim Sae Ron, whom Kim Soo Hyun is said to have dubbed “Serone.”

According to Kim Se Eui, Park Seo Joon purposefully referenced Garosero in his caption.

Fans of Park Seo Joon swiftly debunked the claim by pointing out that the actor had previously used the word “Garo” in a caption. A few photos from his vacation to Miyazaki, Japan, were previously tweeted by him with the caption, “In Miyazaki Garo.”
