Three Telugu-born superstars—Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and NTR Jr. are expected to establish their dominance across India, especially the Hindi belt. Sources close to the development, as published by Pinkvilla claimed that Prabhas has arranged a strong slate of feature films for the upcoming years, beginning with Fauji and moving on to Spirit, Salaar 2, Kalki 2, and Brahmarakshas.

A source stated as quoted by Pinkvilla, “Prabhas is playing big in the Pan India space by experimenting with several genres. While Fauji is a one of its kind period war film, Spirit is a contemporary cop thriller directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Salaar 2 will mark his reunion with Prashanth Neel, followed by the Prashanth Verma-directed Brahmarakshas.”

The source went on to say that Salaar 2 is scheduled to debut in 2026, after Neel has finished Dragon, and that the stakeholders are really convinced it will hit the mark, particularly given how well the gangster drama was received online.

“The Atlee film is presently in the pre-production stage and the makers are looking to start around August 2025. Atlee is looking to create an altogether new world with Allu Arjun, and prep work is going on in full swing. The Atlee film will arrive in 2027, and he is also doing a mythological period film with director Trivikram, which is also in the prep stage,” the source added.

He is still reading scripts from various industries and has received offers from YRF and Sanjay Leela Bhansali for event feature films, but  has not yet accepted the offer to sing for them. NTR Jr. is currently working on Dragon with Prashanth Neel and has a number of exciting projects planned for the rest of the decade, including a one-of-a-kind action movie with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar that is expected to start production in the second half of 2026. He is also working on Devara, the follow-up to his 2024 release, which is currently in the writing stage and is scheduled to start after the shoot for Dragon concludes.
