Kim Soo Hyun’s career appears to be in ruins after his involvement in a scandal concerning his alleged relationship with actress Kim Sae Ron

PRADA confirmed in a statement on March 14, 2025, that it had terminated its partnership with Kim Soo Hyun. As the accusations against the actor grew more serious, the corporation decided to take this action. “Considering the seriousness of the issue, we have decided to end our collaboration with actor Kim Soo Hyun by mutual agreement,” an official from PRADA said.
The fashion house attested that the contract termination was completed at the head office level. Kim Soo Hyun was named PRADA’s global ambassador in December 2024.
After only three months as a brand ambassador, the actor’s career has suffered a serious blow with the sudden termination of this collaboration. When the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute claimed that the two celebrities had a love relationship in 2015, when Kim Sae Ron was still a minor, the matter blew up like no other.
On March 14, 2025, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, GOLDMEDALIST, released a formal statement refuting the claims and claiming that the two only dated between 2019 and 2020, after Kim Sae Ron had attained the legal age of consent in South Korea.
Kim Soo Hyun was charged by the Garo Sero Research Institute of pushing Kim Sae Ron to pay back a substantial debt of 700 million KWR owed to her previous agency, Goldmedalist, in addition to the dating accusations.
According to the report, Kim Sae Ron begged Kim Soo Hyun for assistance, but he disregarded her.
