As Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to break box office records in just two weeks since its premiere, the mass action drama is setting the bar high.
Pushpa 2: The Rule was released on December 5, 2024, and on its first Friday, brought in Rs 53 crore at the Hindi box office. The Hindi version of the Allu Arjun film made Rs 24 crore on Day 9 and became the most grossing 2nd Friday film in India’s history.
The Hindi-language version of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion brought in Rs 20 crore at the box office that same day.
Gadar 2, Animal, and Stree 2 comes next, in third, fourth, and fifth place, respectively. On the second Friday, the respective 2023 flicks starring Sunny Deol and Ranbir Kapoor brought in Rs 20 crore apiece. On the second Friday after its release on Thursday (Independence Day), Stree 2 brought in Rs 18.50 crore.
