In addition to honoring the actor’s remarkable career, this multi-city film festival will present some of her most well-received and celebrated roles on the big screen once more.

Given that Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar are the only two actors who have had a film festival named after them, it will be the first for a female actor in India. The film festival unveiled a trailer including snippets from some of Kareena’s most beloved movies and characters, such as Poo from Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, Geet from Jab We Met, and the lead character in Chameli. We’ll be sharing more information about it soon.

Kareena wrote on Instagram, “The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here’s to the next 25 (red heart reactions). Thank you to @pvrcinemas_official & @inoxmovies for curating this beautiful festival… so humbled.”
