Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Coolie will be released at the theaters on August 14, 2025. Reportedly, the project has been branded with a new name Majadoor in Hindi.
The Hindi title was posted by the social media page of Red FM India. However, the verification is yet to be offered from the production house.
The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is set to unleash its first track, Chikitu, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and sang by him and T Rajendran.

The already talked about track will be released on June 25, 2025. The teaser starred the composer and a special appearance by the choreographer-actor Sandy Master.1
Previously in the day, the makers released a brisk promo featuring Rajinikanth. The teaser called Chikitu Vibe featured the superstar grooving to the beats like no other.
About the film
The upcoming action film will star the legendary actor in a negative role. Further details are yet to be revealed, nonetheless, it is reported that Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao will be seen in significant roles.
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will make a cameo entry alongside Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde will be performing an exclusive dance sequence.
The movie is set to slide into the theaters on August 14, 2025, facing Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR starrer War 2, helmed by Ayan Mukerji.
In the hindsight, Rajinikanth is filming for Jailer 2 with director Nelson Dilipkumar. The much anticipated project is a follow-up of blockbuster movie Jailer. It will also star Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar in their reprised roles.
