The movie Game Changer, starring Kiara Advani and Ram Charan, has already been subject to piracy less than a week after its theatrical premiere. It has now been reported that a local broadcaster aired a pirated version of the political thriller, and screenshots of the show have been making the rounds online. In response to this leak, producer Sreenivas Kumar, commonly known as SKN, has taken harsh action and asked for “strict action” to stop it.
In the caption, he penned: “This is unacceptable. A film that was released just 4-5 days ago being telecasted on local cable channels & Buses raises serious concerns. Cinema is not just about the Hero, director or producers – it’s the result of 3-4 years of hard work, dedication and the dreams of thousands of people.”
On Wednesday night, SKN posted on his X account an image of Game Changer being broadcast on local cable channels and busses, which was shared by a user.

He added, “Think about the impact on distributors and exhibitors whose livelihoods depend on the success of these films. Such actions undermine their efforts and threaten the future of the film industry. It’s time for respected governments to step up and take strict action to put an end to this. Let’s all unite and stand firm to protect and ensure a better future for cinema.” He ended the caption with the hashtag Save the Cinema.
On January 10, Game Changer was released in theater. It has already surpassed 100 crores in India. Before the movie’s premiere, important narrative aspects were leaked online along with an HD print of the movie. Producer Dil Raju accused the pirates of attempting to extort money before to the leak, and he lodged a complaint against them with the cyber police.
