In a recent episode of You In Radio, Yoo In Na’s YouTube channel, Gong Yoo and Yoo In Na reunited after seven years apart, bringing back fond memories for fans of the popular K-drama Goblin. For fans who cherish the two Goblin siblings as on-screen siblings, the November 28th episode, “Meeting In Na: The reunion of the Goblin siblings | Gong Yoo EP. 2-1,” was indeed a memorable moment.
The show opened with a cordial greeting as Yoo In Na gave Gong Yoo a bouquet as a token of appreciation for his appearance. “My eternal brother, my reliable oppa, actor Gong Yoo, has joined us today,” she mentioned. Gong Yoo replied, “Thank you for inviting me”
“Honestly, even if it wasn’t for promotions, I would have come if Yoo In Na had invited me. I remember her as someone who’s great to talk to,” he said . Yoo In Na mockingly quipped, “Today’s going to be so much fun. No one in the past 48 hours has thought about Gong Yoo more than I have”.
Yoo In Na talked about how enthralled she had been with the Goblin script reading as the two reminisced about their first encounter. “When Gong Yoo walked in, I thought, ‘Wow, Gong Yoo is really here.’” Gong Yoo then replied, “Did you really think that?”
As they reminisced about their few but significant interactions over the years, the talk became sentimental. Yoo In Na recalled instances such as when Gong Yoo texted her after hearing her voice on a car navigation system in Jeju and shared a picture of her posing for a lunchbox. “It was such a familiar voice, and I thought, ‘This is the perfect excuse to reach out,’” Gong Yoo said with a giggle.
