Salman Khan had an Eid release with Sikandar after two years. After much anticipation, the Rashmika Mandanna starring AR Murugadoss directed film has hit theaters. The movie’s buzz, meanwhile, isn’t as high as it was for his other Eid releases. According to Sacnilk.com’s box office report, Sikandar has now made ₹26 crore.
According to the box office data, Sikandar made ₹26 crore on its Sunday opening day. At the box office, this opening number hasn’t broken any records. Additionally, it trails the Vicky Kaushal-starring film Chhaava, which made ₹31 crore on its first day of release.
Salman’s previous releases have also raised the standard and set the benchmark for the recent film; Sultan, released in 2016, brought in ₹36.54 crore. Tiger 3, the film released on 2023, made a staggering ₹53.3 crore on its first day of release.
It will be interesting to witness the projected growth of the film amidst the fresh releases and the tough competition posed by Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava.
