Sanam Teri Kasam re-release: Harshvardhan Rane, Mawra Hocane starrer mints Rs 5 cr on day 2

Due to public demand, Sanam Teri Kasam has finally made a comeback to the theaters. No one could have predicted nine years ago that this love drama would become a cult favorite among moviegoers.

Sanam Teri Kasam, which was directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao, made Rs 4 crore at the box office on Friday. The Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane film has now made Rs 5 crore on the second day, or Saturday, following a strong debut.

In the two days since its theatrical rerun, Sanam Teri Kasam has made a total of Rs 9 crore. It is going up against Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar.

In Hindi markets, Sanam Teri Kasam has been at the top of the chart for the second day in a row. Additionally, it did better at the box office this time around than it did when it was first released in theaters. In 2016, the film made a lifetime business of Rs 8 crore net in India; however, in just two days, the re-release has eclipsed the total earnings. The re-release’s extraordinary ticket sales, which were roughly 3 lakh on the first day, are attributed with its phenomenal performance.

Harshvardhan Rane played Inder Lal Parihaar in Sanam Teri Kasam Pakistani actor Mawra Hocane played Saraswati Parthasaarthy, aka Saru in the film. On February 5, 2016, the romantic tragedy made its debut on television screens.
