Sanam Teri Kasam Re-release: The tragic drama simmer down on day 1 after ruling the box office

The Deepak Mukut-produced movie was re-released on February 7 and is currently up against Mere Husband Ki Biwi and Chhaava.

Sanam Teri Kasam opened in theaters for the first time on February 5, 2016. In the same month of 2025, nine years later, the tragic romance starring Mawra Hocane and Harshvardhan Rane returned to the big screen. In its blockbuster rerun on Day 19, it brought in a leisurely Rs 8 lakh.

Post its incredible theatrical rerun, Sanam Teri Kasam, which is co-directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao, has settled for the scores. In India, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane’s film brought in Rs 8 lakh on Day 19.

In its first week of release, Sanam Teri Kasam, which had a run-in with recent films like Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar, brought in Rs 26.15 crore. In the second week, it made Rs 6.75 crore, surpassing the earnings of both films. When Chhaava arrived, the tragic romance still did fairly well.

Sanam Teri Kasam has already made Rs 1.7 crore in the third week. In India, the re-released version of this nine-year-old film has made a total of Rs 34.55 crore. Deepak Mukut’s production company made a total of Rs 42.55 crore, which included Rs 8 crore from its initial release.
