Sanam Teri Kasam is performing incredibly well at the box office with Mawra Hocane and Harshvardhan Rane in the key roles. The nine-year-old film managed to withstand this weekend’s fresh arrivals and achieved a respectable collection.
The film, which is directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao, keeps drawing people to the theaters. Although it faced fierce competition from Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and the Hollywood blockbuster, Captain America 4, the film managed to add an additional Rs 2.50 crore to its total on Valentine’s Day.
At the Indian box office, Sanam Teri Kasam’s total cume currently stands at Rs 28.50 crore net. For the record, the film made Rs 4 crore on the day of its re-release and ended the first week at a solid Rs 26 crore. By the end of its second inning at the box office, the Harshvardhan Rane film is expected to have made between Rs 40 crore and Rs 45 crore, based on current trends.
Fans are currently anticipating its follow-up. Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is reportedly under development.
