According to this insider tale, the “Speed” actor is actively trying to prevent Jolie from winning attention in addition to running for an Academy Award herself.
There has reportedly been ongoing animosity over previous jobs for a number of years, according to sources, which explains the difficulties between Bullock and Jolie. This competition was stoked, in part, by the 2013 science fiction blockbuster Gravity.
An insider stated as quoted by In Touch Weekly, “Sandra definitely has a history with Angie,” adding, “There are certainly people in Angie’s camp who think Sandra’s signature role in Gravity should have gone to Angelina, since that was a project Angelina was very interested in starring in herself before Sandra landed the part.”
