The 54-year-old CEO of Bad Boy Records, Sean “Diddy” Combs, has erased everything from his Instagram page, including the apology he wrote in May to Cassie Ventura after it was revealed that he had physically abused the singer of “Me & U.”
His 19.9 million followers are now wondering what his next step would be in light of his continuous legal issues.
The step was taken a few weeks after it was reported that he skipped the prom in May for his 17-year-old twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie.
In addition to Ventura’s complaint and the security footage release, Combs faces a whopping $30 million lawsuit from music producer Lil’ Rod and multiple other sexual assault cases from various parties.
The most recent complaint against Diddy was brought by former model April Lampros, who claimed that the music producer had drugged and sexually assaulted her while she was a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
When Sean ‘Diddy’ physically assaulted Cassie Ventura in 2016
Disturbing security film from 2016 that was released to the public in May depicted the rapper kicking, dragging, and throwing an object at his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallways of an InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles.
The violent video from March 5, 2016, provided by CNN, seems to support a number of the allegations made by Ventura in her complaint against Combs.
In the video, Ventura can be seen walking down a hallway toward the elevators as Combs, dressed in a towel, follows behind her. He throws her to the ground, drags her to the corridor, and then kicks her repeatedly. Still, she succeeds in breaking free. He even throws a vase at Ventura.
Post the backlash, Diddy posted an apology note on Instagram admitting to what was featured in the video. “My behavior on that video is inexcusable,” he said. “I was disgusted then when I did it, and I’m disgusted now.” Further adding that he intends to seek therapy and rehab.
