Woozi’s reaction

According to a July 10, 2024, BBC article, some K-pop groups are utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) in their songwriting. The article mocked the internationally renowned K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN.

Not surprisingly, the report infuriated both the boy group’s fan base and itself.

SEVENTEEN’s Woozi’s story

In a new Instagram story, he wrote “All of SEVENTEEN’s music is written and composed by human creators”.

Excerpts from the previously mentioned article claiming that SEVENTEEN used AI to create music for their latest lead track MAESTRO “may well include AI-generated lyrics too” were posted by Woozi on July 14, 2024, and later deleted.

Following the above story’s deletion, Woozi swiftly and decisively refuted any and all claims made about AI.
