Shah Rukh Khan grooves with Virat Kohli on Jhoome Jo Pathaan at IPL opening ceremony

For the evening look, Shah Rukh looked dapper in a blue shirt, leather jacket, and pants. He stated, “Party Pathan ke ghar pe rakhoge toh mehman nawazi ke liye Pathan khud aayega aur patake bhi layega (If you will keep the party in this house Pathaan will surely come to celebrate and invite him and also bring the firecrackers along with him).” Then, to thunderous applause from the crowds, Shah Rukh addressed the city of joy and began the opening ceremony by praising Virat as the greatest IPL player while chanting his name three times, urging the audience to repeat after him.
Post Karan Aujla’s performance, he added, “Kolkata, kemon acho? IPL ne pichle 18 saalo mein bohut se zindagi badal diye hein. Log aajkal break up nahi karte strategic time out lete hein. Lets give it up guys for the biggest celebration.” He went to introduce Virat Kohli as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time. The two of them also interacted on stage shortly.
Rinku Singh joined the actor on stage, and the duo danced to his song Lutt Putt Gaya from Dunki. Shreya Ghoshal also performed at the event, and actor Disha Patani captivated the audience with her upbeat dance performance.
