Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri looped in for Sajid Nadiadwala’s thriller; deets here

According to a report by Pinkvilla,  Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj would be returning to their roles in Sajid Nadiadwala’s action-packed thriller, which has yet to be named. In addition, Triptii Dimri will play the female protagonist in the movie, and the producers hope to rope in an amazing ensemble in the actioner. The director-actors trio is set for Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film Arjun Ustara on January 6.

“A massive set is being constructed at a studio in Mumbai, bringing the film’s vision to life. A team of over 500 people is working to create this elaborate set-up, as the idea is to mount it on a massive scale. The makers are aiming to recreate Mumbai from the era gone by, as the premise of the film is set against the backdrop of the underworld in the Post-Independence era,” stated a source close to the production as quoted by Pinkvilla.

“Triptii is also excited to embark on a new journey with Shahid Kapoor, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Vishal Bhardwaj. The film will go on floors in January with a marathon schedule, and the makers aim to call it a wrap, to bring the film on the big screen by the end of 2025,” the source added.

Sajid Nadiadwala will have four films released in 2025: Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna; Housefull 5, a comedy series starring Akshay Kumar; Baaghi 4, starring Tiger Shroff; and Arjun Ustara, which will round off the year.
