Sharvari Wagh refuses to be the next Alia Bhatt, here’s why
The actress said that although she aspires to lead by example, Alia is unquestionably an inspiration to her.
Sharvari Wagh has become a well-known figure in the industry after a string of critically acclaimed films, demonstrating her potential as a gifted actress. Following her roles in Munjay and Maharaj, she is currently part of the Nikhil Advani-directed action movie Vedaa, which also stars John Abraham.
Sharvari most recently made an appearance in a podcast interview with Shubhankar Mishra, a YouTuber. They discussed a wide range of subjects, including her childhood and movie preferences. The interviewer hinted that she could be the next Alia Bhatt in between.
Sharvari stated in the interview that while Alia Bhatt is a true superstar, she wants to be Sharvari and hopes that one day people will use her name as an inspiration for others, just as they do with Alia.
Sharvari added, “I am definitely inspired by her because when I see her movies in the theater, I already know that the movie is going to be outstanding and the acting performance will be better than that and we know that we won’t see Alia but a character on the screen.”
Sharvari stated that she had always wanted to be an actress and that she wanted to play a range of characters on screen and wow the audience with her performances. She said she takes it as a compliment when people say they didn’t recognize her on screen; instead, they saw the character she played.
About Vedaa, the film’s plot centers on the problem of casteism and is directed by Nikhil Advani with writing by Aseem Arrora. The film also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Kshitij Chauhan, Abhishek Banerjee, and Ashish Vidyarthi in important roles.
John portrays a former soldier from the Gorkha Regiment who was court-martialed for disobeying orders in the thrilling action movie Vedaa.
Sharvari will next be seen alongside Alia Bhatt in the female-led spy movie Alpha. Both will exist in the universe of YRF Spy. The movie’s title has been formally revealed by the filmmakers.
The 50-second teaser video begins with the YRF Spy Universe logo and features a powerful voiceover by Alia that discloses the film’s title. It also offers a sneak peek at the captivating background score of the movie.
