Shraddha Kapoor became well-known for her stirring performance in Aashiqui 2. She talked candidly about her path so far at the NDTV World Summit 2024 on Monday. She also discussed how much she loved Aashiqui 2 and, of course, the Stree Franchise.

She responded on working for Aashiqui, “Not that I know of. But because, I mean, I’m sure if the makers thought of a sequel, they would think of something very, very interesting. And, of course, Aashiqui gave me so much love, so much appreciation. The story, that’s the film where everything changed for me.”
“I’m sure that if they do come up with something, it would be really, really awesome. And you know, if I feel like if it is something challenging for me as an actor, something different for me to do, I would be open to it,” she continued.
With its moving plot and heartfelt songs, the Mohit Suri-directed musical masterpiece, which debuted on April 26, 2013, had a lasting impression on Bollywood cinema. Aditya Roy Kapur played Shraddha’s opposite.
Rise of Stree 2
Shraddha, meanwhile, is enjoying the success of Stree 2, which also starred Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Raj Kumar Rao. It was released on August 15, 2024, and minted over ₹700 crore.
