After a respectable first weekend, Sikandar, starring Salman Khan is treading behind in theater occupancy. Shortly after the Eid holidays, the film experienced a sharp decline on the fourth consecutive day.
The film recorded a strong start of Rs 25 crore. Credits to the auspicious Eid vacation, the film had another successful drive and brought in Rs 27 crore. On Day 3, it added another Rs 18 crore, bringing the three-day total to Rs 70 crore net in India.
Estimates show that the film saw a 50% decline on Day 4 compared to Day 3 and was only able to bring in Rs 9 crore. After four days, Sikandar’s total box office receipts at the Indian box office total Rs 79 crore net.
The film is on the verge of a disastrous end based on the declines and its box office pace. Regardless of the film’s quality, Sikandar will now carry forward Salman Khan’s successful run of surpassing the Rs 100 crore milestone at the box office
