Social media is going crazy over the adorable photos of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal from their wedding. With a low-key registered wedding, the couple ushered in their wedded bliss.
But a touching gesture that calls for particular mention is the new bride’s decision to wear her mother Poonam Sinha’s antique jewelry and saree on her wedding day.
Sonakshi looked stunning in an off-white saree and striped blouse for the special event. She added matching earrings and a pearl necklace to complete her stylish ensemble. She wore a floral garland on her bun.
The duo wrote in a joint post, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.”
