Spirit, featuring Prabhas in the lead role with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on board has been the talk of the town. After Deepika Padukone dropped the project, it is conjectured that Rukmini Vasanth might appear as the female lead.
According to a report by Aakashavaani, the makers are in deliberation with the Sapta Sagradaache Ello fame actor. However, the confirmation is yet to be made official.
As per a Pinkvilla report, the Padukone seeked a remuneration of Rs 40 crores. However, the makers proposed the sum of Rs 20 crores, which did not sit well with the actor. In addition, citing similar reasons, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan refused the project despite being onboard.

The film Spirit is touted to be a cop action drama featuring the story of an angry young cop who braces against the drug mafia. Even though the casting is yet to be clarified, the film is most probably set to be released in 2026.
Prabhas is currently working on the tentatively titled PrabhasHanu (Fauji). Meanwhile, actress Rukmini Vasanth will be seen in Vijay Sethupathi’s Ace and Sivakarthikeyan starrer Madharasi.
