The eagerly anticipated project with Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli, tentatively titled SSMB29, is expected to begin production in January 2025. It appears that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is being considered by the producers for the leading role.
The producers of the Mahesh Babu film are reportedly in negotiations with Priyanka to star in the masterpiece, according to a report by Filmfare.
If the casting report turns out to be accurate, it will be intriguing to watch how Priyanka would develop a character under SS Rajamouli’s guidance.
Speculatively titled SSMB29 or SSRMB, the much anticipated film is hailed as one of India’s most ambitious endeavors. It is estimated to be a large-scale event with a budget of Rs 900–1000 crores.
Mahesh Babu recently appeared in Trivikram Srinivas’ Guntur Kaaram. The actor has also dubbed the voice of Mufasa: The Lion, a forthcoming Hollywood film.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently starred in the lead role in Love Again (2023), where she costarred with Sam Heughan. Next up for the actress are Hollywood projects such as The Bluff and Heads of State.
