Stree 2 attracts audience to the theaters; emerges as a hit Sunday entertainer
According to the report, Stree 2 is expected to reach ₹184 crore within four days.
New figures has been received regarding the Sunday take of Amar Kaushik’s most recent movie. According to a report on Sacnilk.com, the horror-comedy has made its second-highest single-day collection to date, with an estimated ₹50 crore. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor played the main roles.
On Sunday, the Hindi occupancy rate on Stree 2 was 70.41% overall, with Bengaluru leading the pack with an 84% turnout.
The Stree 2 effect
The Hindi movie, which was directed by Amar Kaushik, is a follow-up to the successful 2018 movie Stree, launched Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe.
On August 15, Independence Day, “Stree 2,” which also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, debuted in theaters nationwide.
After three days, the production company reported that the film’s net domestic collection was ₹145.8 crore.
“The UNDISPUTED STREE of the box office! Thank you, audience, for making it happen,” a post read on the poster on X.
In Stree 2, the main characters—who had previously unraveled the mystery surrounding the female ghost—against a new foe named Sarkata, a ghost with only a head.
The movie is a part of the horror-comedy universe created by producer Dinesh Vijan, which also features movies like Munjya and Bhediya.
