Stree 2: Can fans anticipate the third installment? Deets inside

The much awaited Stree 2 trailer, which stars Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Aparshakti Khurana, is finally available on public forum.

It seems that the filmmakers are already working on a third installment, which holds high anticipation until the movie opens on August 15, 2024. Here’s what producer Dinesh Vijan has to reveal.

Dinesh Vijan reveals probability on Stree 3

Producer Dinesh Vijan disclosed information regarding the third Stree film during the premiere of the trailer for Stree 2. He stated, “Stree 2 is like the mothership; it answers many questions raised by Stree 1 and explains the connections. After Stree 2, the next movie will be called Dhama.”

He added, “We have already written Stree 3, so the gap between the films will be shorter.”

Stree 2 trailer reveals a glimpse of the chilling plot

The thrilling fusion of humor and terror in the trailer is exactly what fans have been waiting for. The cherished Chanderi gang is back in this 2-minute, 54-second teaser, along with the terrifying new adversary Sarkata!

Shraddha, Vicky’s romantic interest, also shows up, but this time there’s a new threat to contend with—Sarkata wants to abduct every woman in the village. To defend his beloved and the women of the village, Vicky gets up and assumes the role of Chanderi’s prince.

The original Stree cast is featured in the trailer, which promises an engrossing blend of humor and spine-tingling horror. In the film, Tamannaah Bhatia also makes a cameo appearance with a dance number.

Amar Kaushik directed the film, under the banner of Jio Studios is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Dinesh Vijan.

Reportedly, Varun Dhawan will reprise his role as Bhediya in a special appearance in the movie. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor filmed their scene at a Mumbai studio. His brief appearance is meant to serve as a prelude to Bhediya 2.
