Shah Rukh Khan’s King was set to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh however Siddharth Anand who wrote the story, has been given the chance to direct the action entertainer, according to Pinkvilla. The director has now made the decision to work with Shahid Kapoor on his next film.
In 2021, Pinkvilla mentioned in a report that Shahid Kapoor and Sujoy Ghosh will be working together. They were unable to continue, nevertheless, due to scheduling issues. According to a recent Mid-Day article, the filmmaker has now started discussing the movie again. The movie’s production is scheduled to start in 2025.
The report stated. “Shahid was interested in the script earlier, but the timing wasn’t right. Now, both Sujoy and he are making it a priority to align their schedules and bring it to life,” the source was quoted as saying.
An insider to the news agency said, “Triptii has really liked the script and is looking forward to collaborating with Shahid and director Sujoy”.
