Ajith Kumar and Trisha starring Vidaamuyarchi is an Indian version of the Kurt Russell film Breakdown. The film centers on Arjun and wife, Kayal, who are experiencing a difficult time together and are on the verge of divorcing.

He finds it difficult to manage his everyday life as he takes on the responsibilities of remodeling his home, paying for his mother’s religious journey throughout India, and encouraging his expectant wife to pursue her UPSC dreams, particularly after losing his job.
