It would be intriguing to witness whether the film can brave the April 10 release of Jaat or fail to make it out of theaters.

The Diplomat starring John Abraham, Sadia Khateeb, Kumud Mishra, and Sharib Hashmi is doing better than anticipated. The political thriller, which is based on a real-life incident, is profiting from Sikandar’s subsiding box office performance.
The Diplomat, which was released over the Holi weekend, did well at the box office. Salman Khan’s Sikandar was supposed to arrive on Eid 2025 (March 30) to conclude its theatrical run. Nonetheless, the film aggressively opposed Sikandar and saw a respectable increase in the number of showings.
On the day of Sikandar’s release, March 30 (Sunday), the film had 381 showings at PVR Inox and Cinepolis, for the record. On March 31, the number of shows increased to 423, then to 523 on April 1 and 572 on April 2.
Due to unfavorable reviews and subsequent box office declines, The Diplomat will continue to add extra shows even in its fourth weekend.
The John Abraham film, which was directed by Shivam Nair, made Rs 19.50 crore in its first week and Rs 9 crore in its second. The third week’s closing collection is anticipated to be Rs 5.50 crore, bringing the three-week total to Rs 34 crore net in India.
The movie is expected to wind its theatrical run somewhere around Rs 40 crore net, which is a better figure than John Abraham’s last release, Vedaa.
