The Greatest Of All Time ft superstar Thalapathy Vijay set to hit Rs 200 cr at the Tamil box office

The Greatest Of All Time (The GOAT), Thalapathy Vijay’s most recent action film, is getting closer to earning Rs 200 crore at the Tamil box office.

Presented by AGS Entertainment, the ensemble cast includes Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Jayaram, Prabhudeva, Yogi Babu, and Thalapathy Vijay. On its second Wednesday and second Thursday, The GOAT made almost Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 2.75 crore in box office revenue, respectively, shattering the state record set by Jailer. In just two weeks, the total minted at the Kollywood box office as Rs 197.75 crore.

The Tamil action film is performing remarkably well in its home markets, but it has received conflicting reviews in the other states, which has hurt its chances of making a lot of money at the box office in the Telugu and Malayalam regions. Although it is anticipated to surpass the lifetime box office total of the Hindi film Leo, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film may have done better if it had also been released in national chains and received extensive promotion in the North Belt. Up until today, the Tamil movie has only received Rs 76.25 crore from the other Indian states.

By the conclusion of its second week, the GOAT had amassed a gross receipts of Rs 151 crore, indicating that it is performing well in international markets.

About the film

The story of MS Gandhi, a young field agent and spy who resides in Delhi with his wife and son, under the guise of a regular government employee, the man unintentionally sends his family on holiday to Thailand. Nevertheless, a cunning scheme hatched by a rival throws his life for a loop and causes multiple adjustments. The  film centers on Gandhi’s struggle to confront his history, however this time, his blood works against him.
