Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther were declared the winners of the first season of The Traitors, a reality show chaired by Karan Johar. In the last episode, the duo voted against the fellow innocent contestants Sudhanshu Pandey, and traitors Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha. The prize money is touted to be ₹70 lakhs that will be divided between Uorfi and Nikita.
The Traitors: Turn of events in the grand finale

The last episode displayed the hot discussion on the circle of shaq, wherein Apoorva Mukhija was eliminated. On the last day, Jasmin Bhasin was jointly murdered by Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha. The climax reached the momentum, when Purav discussed his agenda with Harsh in the billiard room, which Uorfi overheard. In the final circle of shaq, Uorfi announced Purav as the traitor.
Hereafter, Uorfi and Nikita trusted each other and went against the traitors in the finale. The two women received a split amount of ₹70,05,000. Uorfi affirmed that her big win is an answer to those who doubted on her potential. Meanwhile, Nikita, who initially left on the first day of the show is overjoyed with the victory.
About The Traitors
The show involved a troop of contestants, who must battle against the odds to eliminate the Traitors from the Innocents. The Innocents predicted the Traitors and voted them out before being ‘murdered’ in the game.
The Indian edition of The Traitors inspired from the Dutch show De Verraders featured 20 contestants – Purav Jha, Karan Kundrra, Harsh Gujral, Ashish G Vidyarthi, Apoorva aka Rebel Kid, Uorfi Javed, Jasmine Bhasin, Lakshmi Manchu, Raftaar, Elnaaz Norouzi, Nikita Luther, Anshula Kapoor, Raj Kundra, Janvi Gaur, Maheep Kapoor, Jannat Zubair, Mukesh Chhabra, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sahil Salathia, and Sufi Motiwala.
