According to South Korean media site ET News, the first Korean ceremony for the TikTok Awards took place on Friday, November 15, at the Kyunghee University Peace Hall in Seoul.
On the awards night, creative forces—not just influencers who are well-known and celebrated on the international short-form platform TikTok were honored.
Alongside Jin Hyeonju, a member of the project girl group UNIS, American singer-songwriter Eric Nam, who is living in South Korea, took command as the main MC of the awards presentation. One of the night’s most memorable performance groups was her girl group, which was formed through the survival reality show Universal Ticket. The well-known SM Entertainment girl group Aespa, Kep1er, FIFTY FIFTY, WE ARE THE NIGHT, and 8TURN were featured on the star-studded roster.
TikToker and K-pop singers, with a dash of K-drama, were among the winners of the inaugural Korean TikTok Awards. These are all of the winners at the Seoul awards ceremony on November 15.
