Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Priya Ahuja Rajda responded after her co-star Gurucharan Singh’s returned home after days of going missing. She said in an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, “it was a moment of joy.”
“I am so happy to hear that Gurucharan is back. The whole Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was worried about his whereabouts since he went missing, and was hoping he comes back soon and reunites with his family,” she said.
She continued, “It is a moment of joy that it has finally happened. We all can take a sigh of relief. Now, after what he has gone through, I just want to send across love and blessings to him.”
After being missing on April 22, the actor made his homecoming last Friday. According to a police officer quoted by the news agency PTI, Gurucharan had embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage that took him to many Gurudwaras and other places of worship in Punjab. According to the officer, he is doing well and that his statement was recorded in front of the magistrate.
It was anticipated that Gurucharan Singh, who was spending time with his parents in Delhi, would return to Mumbai, but he never did. An inquiry to locate him was in progress, and the Delhi Police had filed a case of kidnapping. According to NDTV, the preliminary inquiry conducted by Delhi Police into the matter disclosed that he was about to tie the knot and was having financial difficulties.
