According to a report by Pinkvilla, South Korea has announced its maiden lesbian dating show, marking a new phase of reality shows in the country. The show is titled To Get Her which was released on April 25, 2025, caught much intrigue among the viewers, especially seeking the conservative culture, the nation has been embracing for long.
To Get Her will feature contestants who will stay put to get ‘her’, seeking the name and expected format. It will certainly follow a similar dating show criteria, yet the catch here is the fact that it will host an all-female participation. As per a teaser released earlier, audiences were excited to witness the cast of the show, who seemed to be absolutely charming.
The first episode has been released today at 4:00 am KST (7:30 AM IST) on Wavve, while global viewers can stream it on Rakuten TV. The remaining 9 episodes will be aired every Friday till June 27. With emerging theme of LGBTQ+ content, a Netflix special Japanese gay dating show The Boyfriend has also gained traction in the momentum.
