Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are the center of attention as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. But months earlier, the famous player had experienced a startling personal setback when robbers broke into his mansion in the Kansas City suburbs. Kelce has invested heavily in security measures for his Leawood, Kansas, home since the break-in.
During a series of burglaries that also targeted teammate Patrick Mahomes’ residence, Kelce’s property was broken into in October 2024, resulting in the theft of $100,000 worth of jewelry and $20,000 in cash. The following month, in Providence, Rhode Island, police were able to recover a stolen watch, but the star players were still affected by the occurrence.
Along with improved lighting and motion detectors, Kelce has now installed ten cameras on the new property. According to reports, he also spent $9,000 on an Anatolian Shepherd and a German Shepherd to give his home an additional layer of protection. Additionally, he has paid $6,000 a month for two security guards. The source as reported by Cheatsheet stated, “Travis decided to do things the best way, investing money on alarms and security personnel and dogs to put himself in the safest situation possible. All he wants is to be safe.”
The romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is intensifying, as the two are becoming closer than before. Swift, who already has houses in Nashville, Los Angeles, New York City, and Rhode Island, might be thinking about adding another mansion to her outstanding real estate portfolio if their relationship grows.
