The legendary “Friends” actor Matthew Perry, 54, died last year due to “acute effects of the drug Ketamine,” according to his autopsy report.
However, research showed that because of the drug’s brief half-life, the Ketamine in his blood at the time of his death could not have come from his prescribed treatment. Because of this, the detectives began to believe Perry had gotten the lethal dosage from a different source.
Further details
The insider said that a woman who met Perry in the rehab, was a celebrity was brought in to be questioned. “They have basically been on the hunt for Matthew’s killer,” an insider source stated as quoted by In Touch. “She’s a celebrity in her own right, and they met in rehab. They formed an unexpected friendship,” the source continued.
The cops, sensing suspicion, showed up at the doorstep of the unidentified star. The police showed up to her sober living facility with a search warrant. The actor as per the report, was “in total shock and had no idea what the search warrant was about.” (In Touch has refrained fr0m revealing details of the celebrity seeking the ongoing investigation.)
“She’s adamant she had nothing to do with [Perry’s death],” the insider added.
“She’s been tight-lipped about the situation. But the investigators must have known something to get a warrant and turn up like that.”
“She surrendered everything and was completely cooperative”.
Although the specifics of the police’s search are still unknown, it is connected to the inquiry into Perry’s drug acquisition, which is what ultimately caused his death.
