Vettaiyan trailer: Rajinikanth as a swagger clashes with Amitabh Bachchan in this crime thriller
The movie will hit the theaters on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera on October 10.

The eagerly anticipated crime action-thriller Vettaiyan features Rajinikanth returning with a swagger. Under the direction of TJ Gnanavel, the seasoned actor is getting back together with his co-star Amitabh Bachchan from Andha Kanoon. Both megastars are featured in an epic face-off in the film’s trailer, which was published on Wednesday.
As per the trailer, the police department identifies a crime incidence at the beginning. Consequently, a compelling case is being developed to have the offender put to death through an encounter. It is seen that Rajinikanth is the one picked to face the person. The villain is portrayed as a vicious mastermind who targets ladies for his atrocities. The trailer also introduces the characters of Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil.
Amitabh portrays a character named Sathyadev in the film Vettaiyan. In the meantime, Manju Warrier portrays Thara, Rana Daggubati plays Natraj, Fahadh Faasil plays Patrick, Ritika Singh plays a police officer named Roopa, and Dushara Vijayan plays a teacher named Saranya.
Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack for the film.

Vettaiyan is Rajinikanth’s 170th film and Amitabh’s Telugu debut.
