Since its premiere, Chhaava has been a standout film at the theaters. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj-based film did better than other releases like Superboys of Malegaon, Crazxy, and Mere Husband Ki Biwi and the incumbent runner The Diplomat starring John Abraham.
Chahava, produced by Maddock Films, is gradually approaching its end at the theaters. The Vicky Kaushal-starring film brought in Rs 6.5 crore on Day 30, the same amount it collected on Friday.
Chhaava’s cume collection now stands at Rs 512 crore in Hindi markets, having crossed Rs 500 crore on the 29th day of its release. It should be noted that Day 29 of Laxman Utekar’s film coincided with the Holi festival. During its run in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan’s lead film made Rs 513 crore net in India, replacing Ranbir Kapoor’s 2023 film, Animal, and becoming the sixth highest grosser of the Rs 500 crore club. After Day 30, Dinesh Vijan’s production slightly undertook Pathaan.
It will soon become the fifth most grossing Hindi film in India, surpassing the box office performance of the action movie starring Siddharth Anand. The list also contains Jawan, Stree 2, and Gadar 2. By the end of its theatrical run, Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama is estimated to have made Rs 550 crore, making it the third highest grossing film.
