On February 16, a friend discovered South Korean actress Kim Sae Ron dead at her Seoul residence. According to media reports, after the 24-year-old failed to show up for a scheduled meeting, a friend came to check on her and called police to report that she was unconscious. Her death was confirmed, and the cause of death is being looked into.

The acquaintance contacted Kim Sae Ron around the end of 2024, according to an EDaily story, and was intimated about the sudden change in her career path after she put a stop to her acting career because of the criticism she received from the DUI. The insider revealed the startling information that the late actress had lately adopted the new name Kim Ah Im.

It was also disclosed that Kim Sae Ron intended to start a café. This comes after a TV Daily story said that she was seen manning the counter and supervising operations while working as a café manager in July 2024.
