The much anticipated film Jee Le Zaraa, directed by Farhan Akhtar, starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, was first revealed back in 2021. Fans have been anticipating its debut with great anticipation since its making. In an interview from the previous year, Farhan mentioned the reason for the delay in the release of the film due to the clashing dates of the actors’ schedules. The Jigra actress has now spoken up, sharing her thoughts on the delay.
Alia Bhatt was asked about the status of Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, which stars her with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, in a recent interview with Showsha.
The actress broke her silence on the subject, saying that due of the “nature of the subject and the collaboration”—that is, the strong team of collaborators coming together, everyone has a strong “intention” of making the picture. She did, however, note that the temporal restrictions is preventing it from further implementation.
Bhatt added, “So, the intention is to make it happen, but like I said, sometimes there is a time and place for everything, and you just have to wait for the right time to come together. But, I think the intention in everybody’s heart is to make sure that this film to hit the big screen. Someday or the other, we just need to figure out the timing.”
Pinkvilla revealed in February that the movie was shelved due to scheduling conflicts. Nonetheless, the project’s creators intend to give it new life. “The trio is working out on the combination dates with a positive intent of bringing the film back on track,” the source said.
