For more over two weeks, Marco, which debuted on December 20, 2024, has been showing in theaters. It also stars Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S. Thilakan among others. The Malayalam movie has been doing incredibly well at the box office. But now that Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani has been re-released in Hindi-speaking theaters, it will have fierce competition.
Marco, the film directed by Haneef Adeni, made Rs 1 lakh on its first day at the Hindi box office. The film starring Unni Mukundan made Rs 25 lakh in its first week of release. Thanks to New Year, the second week was fantastic, bringing in Rs 3.95 crore. The total amount collected during the two weeks was Rs 4.2 crore.
The action thriller’s total profits in Hindi markets reached Rs 4.45 crore after collecting Rs 25 lakh on the third Friday (Day 15).
Marco has proven to be Unni Mukundan’s highest-grossing film to date. The freshly released Malayalam movie’s performance at the Hindi box office appears to be impacted by the comeback of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to theaters. In its third week, the newest action movie, which is billed as the bloodiest action movie in Indian cinema, might not get the kind of response it had hoped for.
Marco was expected to do better this week than the previous one. However, given the re-release of the 2013 blockbuster picture, which is aiming for an opening of Rs 2 crore and stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin, it might not be feasible.
