Popular television actress Lataa Sabharwal disclosed separation from her spouse actor Sanjeev Seth after spending 15 years in marriage on Saturday. Lataa Sabharwal hit to stardom for her performances in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Vivah’ and ‘Ye Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke’. She appealed to the fans to respect her privacy in these times. Fans who followed the actor on social media suspected the brewing distance between the couple.
Lataa Sabharwal-Sanjeev Seth heads for divorce
The official statement from the actor read, ‘After a long silence… I announce that I have separated from my husband (Sanjeev Seth). I express my gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life.’ She added, ‘I request everyone to please respect my and my family’s peace and do not ask any questions in this regard and do not even call. Thank you.’
Nonetheless, the actor has not revealed the reason for the separation.
