Zayn Malik had to postpone his performance in Mexico City. On March 28, 2025, the vocalist was supposed to rock the stage however due to a grave case of food poisoning, he was forced to cancel his planned concert after attempting to find other possibilities.
On his Instagram Stories, Zayn Malik penned, “I’m heartbroken to say that I won’t be able to perform tonight in Mexico City.”
The singer continued by saying that he had been feeling ill since the morning of the performance and that, despite his best efforts, Malik’s body just wouldn’t let him go on stage for his devoted fans.
The artist apologized for the concert’s cancellation, saying, “I’m so sorry to let you down. The love and energy I always feel from my fans mean the world to me, and it hurts deeply to miss this moment with you.”
Zayn Malik expressed his gratitude to the understanding fans and said he was giving them all his love. After providing his fans with a health update, he said, “It’s no joke,” adding that he and his team had all been afflicted with food sickness. [I’m] still having trouble.
The singer paid tribute to his late bandmate Liam Payne a few days before the cancellation.
