Zendaya and Anna Sawai witnessed a startling twinning moment at the 2025 Met Gala, amidst the ongoing discussions online. However, it seems that there is no bad blood between the two actors. Recently, Zendaya sent a token of appreciation by sending flowers to Sawai.
Both of them relished a fashion coincidence with white colored tailored suits. Zendaya donned a Louis Vuitton suit paired with flared pants, while Sawai looked mesmerizing in a Dior outfit with wide-leg trousers.
Zendaya-Sawai’s twinning moment
Law Roach, Zendaya’s longstanding stylist, mentioned in conversation with Entertainment Tonight on May 13 that, “I think people thought that there was some type of disappointment on our end. (Sawai’s) stylist Karla Welch and I are very friendly, we’ve known each other for years, and Karla and I talked. Zendaya sent Anna flowers, you know, because it was her first Met.”
Roach again mentioned in a different interview with Hello Beautiful, over the charming entry by Sawai, “I am dying ’cause she’s got on Zendaya’s look. I’m so glad we came early.”

Law Roach cleared in distinct words that there was no sense of disappointment amongst the two: Anna Sawai carried forward an inspiration from Yoko Ono, while Zendaya’s adopted an inspiration from Diana Ross and Bianca Jagger.
Anna Sawai posted her take on Instagram, last week. “I know a lot of people have a lot to say, and trust me, I admire her too,” she penned. “But most importantly, I’m so happy with my look, so please be happy for me too.”
Sawai’s stylist, Karla Welch, too arrived in due cognizance and cleared the air with a favourable tone. She lauded Law Roach’s creative take and added that this serves as an indirect tribute to Zendaya.
