KKR have opened a fireworks display at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam while playing against Delhi Capitals, after KKR opener Sunil Narine, along with Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who came in at number three.
KKR have bolstered an amazing start by scoring 150 runs in just 11 overs, at the loss of one wicket.
This year’s IPL has been more batting-friendly, apart from pace strikes by the likes of Burger, Mayank Yadav, and Nortje.
KKR are on the verge of breaking the record for the most runs scored in one innings by a team, which has surprisingly been set recently. SRH, while playing against Mumbai Indians, scored 277 runs.
With nine overs still remaining and a target of 130 runs within reach, the anticipation is palpable as KKR eye the ultimate record. Can they surpass SRH’s monumental total and etch their names in IPL history?
