A major boost is in hand for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of their match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as star pacer Mustafizur Rahman is expected to return to the CSK camp this Sunday evening.
Rahman’s return means he will be able to be chosen for the playing XI against KKR in Chepauk, which is a great relief for CSK.
Mustafizur Rahman had to briefly depart from the CSK camp to fulfill visa formalities for his upcoming visit to the USA during the ICC T20 World Cup.
However, the Bangladeshi pacer is now set to return to India from Bangladesh and is expected to join the CSK squad on Sunday night, ensuring his availability for the crucial encounter against KKR.
The inclusion of Mustafizur Rahman is indeed a significant boost for CSK, considering his stellar performance in IPL 2024 thus far. The ace pacer has showcased exceptional bowling prowess, claiming 7 wickets in just 3 games.
Currently placed 4th in the race for the Purple Cap, Mustafizur’s return adds depth and potency to the CSK bowling attack, further enhancing their chances of securing victory against KKR.
